For its cumulative 1HFY15, Media Prima’s net profit was largely flat at RM62.8mn compared with RM62.9mn in 1HFY14. 1HFY15 revenue, however, declined 6.4% YoY to RM695.2mn from RM742.7mn previously, due to sluggish advertising spending and laclustre macroeconomic sentiment. It also announced the resignation of its chairman Tan Sri Johan Jaffar, effective Aug 31. (The Edge)
